Children move on from Mars room and join the team in Venus. Venus is a bright and airy and consists of two rooms with partition doors and provides learning experiences to help the children continue to progress in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The wide variety of age appropriate toys and equipment allows the curriculum planning to provide the children with opportunities to encounter new experiences in order to extend their skills and build on what they already know.

The outside areas surrounding the nursery are explored and physical skills are developed on the outside play equipment as the children regularly enjoy the fresh air and have direct access to the garden.

As with our other nursery rooms Venus staff continue to observe the children, taking note of their personal interests in order to plan individual activities and experiences to help them progress in all areas of development.
