Our youngest babies and toddlers start with us in Mars room where they enjoy a safe, clean, bright and airy room. Mars room is well planned to accommodate the individual needs of babies and toddlers ensuring that they thoroughly enjoy their time with fun and exciting resources to stimulate and stretch their developing personalities. 

The staff team in Mars are a caring, warm, responsive committed team with years of experience and expertise within childcare.

Each child is allocated a key person who helps to settle them into their new environment as smoothly as possible with lots of cuddles. The key person builds a partnership with parents/carer to ensure that information is exchanged on a daily basis concerning the child’s development and progress. Each child has a daily diary completed with information about their day and this is then discussed with parents at the end of the session. A designated sleeping room ensures that the children’s individual sleeping routines are respected

 Outside play is an important part of children’s learning and development whereby the children have their own garden area where they can access the world around them and explore and enjoy the experiences outside of their nursery room environment.  These outdoor experiences are also extended by taking the babies/toddlers off site for walks to the local duck pond and Rose Garden in Bushey.
